Q:What kinds of embroidery backing options can I refer?

Heat seal /
Iron-on

1. All you need is an iron for quick and easy attachment. Place the patch on the garment, cover it with a thin, damp towel to prevent burning, then hold the iron over it until fully secured.
How to use: Set iron to "COTTON" 100-150℃, for 20-30 seconds.

2. Not suitable for leather, sweater, or waterproof materials.

3. If you want to attach on caps, please choose "superheat seal".

Superheat seal

1. All you need is an iron for quick and easy attachment. Simply place the patch on the garment, cover it with a thin, damp towel to prevent burning, then hold the iron over it until fully secured.

2. Super sticky, best for curve attachment( e.g., caps)

Plastic / PVC

1. A rigid plastic backing is added to your patches. This gives your patches extra support, meaning they will maintain their shape, even after constant use. 

2. Plastic backing does not have any stickiness.

3. Sew it directly on the surface you want.

1. Easily removable, versatile, and less permanent than other backings. 

2. Self-adhesive backing is great for when you need a quick option for a costume or outfit.

Hook & loop 

1. Hook & loop fastener backing allows you to quickly and easily remove your patch from a garment. It is excellent for when you have multiple patches or need to be able to remove the patch often.

2. All the hook & loop fasteners are available in a full range of widths and colors, sew-on hook and loop can be used for a wide variety of sewing applications.

1. Stitch it directly on garment/ bags.

2. No support backing, it curves easily.

Fabric backing

1. Pad under the embroidered fabric to increase the stiffness, making the thread more stable.

2. Suitable for merrow border products.

Fleece backing

1. Pad under the embroidered fabric to increase the stiffness, making the thread more stable.

2. Suitable for heat-cut & laser-cut border products.

Safety pin

The sharpened pin, that is attached to a coiled wire is connected with a cap that is hooked at the end of the wire. Pushing the pin into the opening of the cap secures the safety of the pin, and the clasp is closed. Good for embroidered products as an attachment on cloth and bag.
